The Vitality Big Half has been created by London Marathon Events Ltd, the world’s leading organizer of mass participation sports events. The route for the 2019 edition of The Vitality Big Half will be announced later in the year. In 2018, the race started by Tower Bridge and finished at the Cutty Sark in Greenwich. The route goes through four London boroughs: Southwark, Lewisham, Tower Hamlets, and Greenwich. Past races have been led by Sir Mo Farah and a world class field including 2017 Virgin Money London Marathon winner Daniel Wanjiru. Past races have included over 11,000 runners of all ages, backgrounds and abilities.

This morning after an early breakfast, please make your way to the start of the 2019 Vitality Big Half.
The mass race starts at 09:00 from Tower Bridge.
All runners will be asked to use public transport to get to the Start Area. We suggest that runners DO NOT drive to the Start as parking will be extremely limited and some roads will be closed for the event

After breakfast, please check out of the hotel. Please make your own way home/onwards.
