Welcome to Germany! After landing in Berlin, make your own way to the hotel; check-in is 3pm. We will have FIT guide hellos in the lobby this afternoon followed by a 3pm departure for runners to the expo for bib pick up. If you arrive earlier, opt take a walk, explore the local area, or rest up!. This evening, meet more of your fellow runners, friends and family for a welcome reception.
DAY TWO | SEPTEMBER 27TH
After breakfast, your Berlin city tour awaits! Join your expert local guide for an historic tour taking you through East & West Berlin, the Holocaust Memorial, Checkpoint Charlie and beyond. The tour concludes back at the Hilton. Rest of day free to return to the expo on your own or explore museum island, the Spree, and more.

Free day to rest up or explore more of Berlin! Tonight it's pasta for marathon prep and a good night sleep!

FIT is returning to this 4-star property for the 7th year and is excited to call this residence our “home” base over marathon weekend. The hotel is located in the heart of Berlin on one of the most beautiful squares, within walking distance to major sightseeing in the city, and on the marathon course at mile 25.4 just a short walk to/from the start/finish (.8 miles) of the marathon course.

It also includes on course cheering locations with our team for runners and spectators.
The Basic Package is designed for individuals who are comfortable with smaller hotel space in amazing race weekend locations, are comfortable with being on their own over race weekend, looking for minimal touch points from FIT while still having an itinerary and program that supports a turnkey marathon weekend accessible to weekend activities.
The Premium Package offers a much more hands on FIT weekend experience with turnkey race operations so that all you have to worry about is training, flights and the hotel address. We take care of the rest (well we can’t run the marathon for you). But truly - let our expertise take the worry out of your international race weekend plans!

Time to celebrate Oktoberfest with a proper afternoon ticket (guaranteed table seating) into the famous Oktoberfest tents including a 1/2 chicken & 2 full litre beers for lunch! This evening you are free to continue Oktoberfest celebrations!
