DAY ONE | SEPTEMBER 24TH

Welcome to Germany! After landing in Berlin, make your own way to the hotel; check-in is 3pm. We will have FIT guide hellos in the lobby this afternoon followed by a 2:30pm departure for runners to the expo for bib pick up (we recommend booking early flights into Berlin so you can join this transfer). If you arrive earlier, opt take a walk, explore the local area, or rest up!. This evening, meet more of your fellow runners, friends and family for a welcome reception.

DAY TWO | SEPTEMBER 25TH

After breakfast, your Berlin city tour awaits! Join your expert local guide for an historic tour taking you through East & West Berlin, the Holocaust Memorial, Checkpoint Charlie and beyond. The tour is a combination of bus & walking tour and concludes back at the Hilton. Rest of day free to return to the expo on your own or explore museum island, the Spree, and more.

DAY THREE | SEPTEMBER 26TH

Opt to register for the Berlin 5K or enjoy a free day to rest up or explore more of Berlin! Tonight it's pasta for marathon prep and a good night sleep!

DAY FOUR | SEPTEMBER 27TH

Time to run the 2026 BMW BERLIN-MARATHON! Enjoy the day on the course racing, running, walking or spectating! Best of luck to all the competitors and a big thanks to all the supporters. Later opt to join your FITguides and fellow FITtravelers for shared stories of the day at our FITfinish celebration!

Our Essential Package is just that - a bit of the essentials: Accommodations super convenient to the start/finish and entry to the race. This package is great for those that want to do race weekend on their own and do not need any support. We offer your choice of the a standard 3-star hotel - Motel One Potsdamer Platz or the luxury Adlon Hotel, a 5-star hotel, steps from the start and finish looking at the Brandenburg Gate!

DAY ONE | SEPTEMBER 24TH

Welcome to Germany! After landing in Berlin, make your own way to the hotel; check-in is 3pm. We will have FIT guide hellos in the lobby this afternoon to answer any of your questions and especially to help provide directions to the race expo. All runners must visit the expo to collect their race bib - today is a great day to accomplish this task! Expo transit is not included on the essential package, but is accessible via public transit - runners also can use their free transit pass for this journey!

DAY TWO | SEPTEMBER 25TH

Breakfast is included at the hotel. Today is free for you to explore the city of Berlin - we highly recommend booking a city tour of Berlin for this day. FIT has an option for you to add on a 3 hour walking tour of Berlin with our expert local guides. Space is limited to 20 guests.

DAY THREE | SEPTEMBER 26TH

Breakfast is included at the hotel. Today is a great day to run the Generali 5K and then spend the rest of the day relaxing.

FIT RECOMMENDS: Pre-book a dinner reservation for this evening as the city is very popular and reservations fill fast!

DAY FOUR | SEPTEMBER 27TH

FIT Recommends: In the mood to celebrate? The Berlin Marathon post-race party is a fun event - usually with a few world record runners on site!

This is a FIT top choice for experiences - we hope to see you at Oktoberfest!

4-Star Hotel

FIT is returning to this 4-star property for the 7th year and is excited to call this residence our “home” base over marathon weekend. The hotel is located in the heart of Berlin on one of the most beautiful squares, within walking distance to major sightseeing in the city, and on the marathon course at mile 25.4. The hotel is 1.1 miles from the start/finish.

The Adlon

This 5-star hotel could not be in a more perfect location for race weekend or visiting the city of Berlin. Located steps from the Brandenburg Gate, this luxury property looks at the start and finish line of the Berlin Marathon. Step into luxury at this turnkey, ideal hotel for race weekend.

The Motel One Potsdamer Platz

Located 2 blocks from Potsdamer Platz, on the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON course at the 39K mark and connected to the Mall of Berlin - this boutique and trendy hotel has an incredible location for race weekend. This hotel is a 3-star and offers rooms with 1 Double Bed only. Important: This hotel does not have nor allow rollaways in the rooms. Beds cannot be split into 2 separate beds. Bed size is double bed only.

What is the difference?

Both packages include accommodations at amazing locations for touring the city of Berlin & accessing the marathon start/finish, along with taxes, breakfast daily and support from FIT. Both packages also include on course cheering locations with our FIT team for runners and spectators.

The Essential Package is designed for individuals comfortable with being on their own over race weekend, navigating to the race start/finish and expo, those looking for minimal touch points from FIT while having a program with incredible race weekend travel operations and rates. FIT does not stay onsite at the Essential Hotel location but will be nearby for any needed support.

The Signature Package offers a much more hands on FIT weekend experience with turnkey race operations so that all you have to worry about is training, flights and the hotel address. We take care of the rest (well we can’t run the marathon for you). But truly - let our expertise take the worry out of your international race weekend plans!

Packages are sold per person.

Travel programs are designed for runners and spectators alike.

Runners, you will select marathon entry as an add-on to your travel package.

Marathon entry is not sold without a travel package.

If you are traveling on your own, 1 traveler & 1 person staying in a room, you would select either the a single room.

If you are traveling with 2 people, you need to select the following based on if you want a room with 1 bed or 2 beds:

• 2 Double Packages

• 2 Twin Packages

For triples, we only have options for triples on our Signature Package at the Hilton. Please select:

FAMILIES:

The only way to accommodate 2 adults and 2 children is in a King Deluxe Room at the Hilton with 1 child sharing the King bed & a second child on a rollaway. Children need to be booked under our “Add On” Section. You can add young travelers to your reservation. Children ages 6+ need to have a paid booking on the package program. If you are staying at the Adlon - you need to book 2 rooms to accommodate 2 adults and 2 children.

OKTOBERFEST: If you want to continue your travels around Germany, we highly recommend adding on our post-trip to experience Munich with FIT. This program includes a guaranteed ticket/table session at the famous (or infamous) Oktoberfest tents along with train transit to Munich, a hotel within walking distance of Oktoerfest and Old Town Munich, our guides and so much fun. We think heading to Bavaria is a wonderful way to celebrate your 2026 BMW BERLIN-MARATHON!

When will I get my entry to the marathon? 

Through our partnership as an official tour operator with the BMW Berlin Marathon, FIT has a private portal where you will register for your entry directly via the Berlin Marathon website. FIT will email you a code to register for the event in early Spring 2026.

What is the payment schedule? 

At the time of booking an initial nonrefundable deposit of $600 per person traveling is due plus payment in full per marathon entry ($425 USD). Final payments are due before June 1, 2026 and automatically charged on May 31, 2026. Payments can be made at any point by logging into your account and making another deposit. FIT is happy to set up an additional automatic schedule for you, please let us know. An additional non-refundable deposit of $500 per person is due for the Oktoberfest extension.

What are the cancellation terms?

The initial deposit per person is non-refundable including any deposits submitted for extension tours and marathon entry. If you have paid over the deposit schedule, any refunds will be honored less a 4% admin fee. After the final payment deadline of June 1, 2026 program costs are non-refundable. Where and if possible, FIT will do our best to help offset cancellation penalties should you need to cancel in the future (not guaranteed). We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your travel investment.

Can I book Oktoberfest and/or extra nights in the future? 

Absolutely! We know travel plans can change based on what you want to do next year - and of course who wants to join you for this celebration & travel weekend. You can always return to your booking and add an extra guest, extra pre and/or post-nights, and the extension trip to Oktoberfest (which we highly recommend). Please note this is only if these are still available. These additional travel options are based on first come, first serve availability until sold out. Historically we have had space for Oktoberfest & pre-nights until April.

If I am traveling with a friend / family member that is not running, how do I book their reservation? 

Excellent question! If you want a room with 1 bed (i.e. share a bed) - Select 2 packages from our drop down in a Double Room for the package and hotel that you want. If you want a room with 2 beds, select 2 packages under the twin bed options.

Total packages in both examples equals two.

If you each want to pay separately you can - discuss which package (Essential or Signature) you want to do, which hotel, and what room type (1 bed - double or 2 beds - twin). You can each build a wetravel.com reservation and in this scenario you would select 1 package each, highlight under the participant information section who you are rooming with, add any add-ons in the next section and then check out with your deposit.

If I am traveling with a friend but we each want our own invoice how do we book? 

You can each make a reservation on your own via the booking portal. Make sure you discuss beforehand what program you want to book:

• Signature or Essential

• For Essential - Adlon or Motel One

• Bed Type - 1 Bed (Double) or 2 Beds (Twin)

Then head to book. Select 1 package each and head to check out. During the participant answer section you will highlight that you are rooming with the other individual and we will pair you together in one room. We only accept 1 package reservations for double and/or twin rooms or triple rooms (3 people traveling together but booking separately). Friends and family members must sign up on the same day and indicate in the reservation who is sharing the room. This is a great way for individuals to manage their own payments, register for travel individually, but share a room together to help offset pricing. Please note: FIT does not match roommates.

I am traveling alone but want to book the double and/or twin room?

Double and Twin Room reservation pricing are only applicable for two people sharing the one room. FIT does not match individuals in a room together, so if you are traveling alone you are eligible to book the single room option. If you find a friend, family member, or other runner in the future to share with you and we still have space, we can update your reservation to the share pricing.
